Located on the banks of the Ilen River and in the heart of Skibbereen, The West Cork Hotel has been making dream weddings a reality for over 100 years.

We pride ourselves on our personalised professional service and attention to detail. This coupled with over 100 years of experience goes to making your day one you will remember for the rest of your life.

Having completed a major extension & refurbishment project, the West Cork Hotel now offers 20 new bedrooms (for a total of 52 bedrooms) whilst retaining that old world charm.

We also have a licence for Civil Wedding Ceremony’s, which can take place in our new wedding venue Daly's, in any one of our dedicated Suites or on the Old West Cork Railway Bridge.

Our Head Chef, prides himself on sourcing the finest local West Cork produce & ingredients and works with our Wedding Couples to refine their wedding menu to suit every taste.

The West Cork Hotel were an amazing wedding venue. We were planning our wedding from Scotland and everyone was so helpful, doing so much over the phone and email and always available to meet us when we were home.
The hotel looked after us so well on the day too, the food and service were perfect …

and all our guests loved it! Everything in the hotel was perfect. They even organised a duck race for us which was one of the highlights of the day!

Everyone at The West Cork Hotel went above and beyond for us, not just on the day, but on the entire lead up to the wedding and I cannot commend them enough for all their hard work and enthusiasm. to an incredible standard to every single guest at the wedding. All the staff of The West Cork Hotel are amazing. They made everyone feel looked-after, relaxed and comfortable and they work tirelessly to make sure that everything runs smoothly and timely on the day. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they all helped make our day very special and very memorable. We cannot thank them enough for all they did for us.
