The 4  star Anner Hotel is the perfect wedding location, offering an opulent and elegant country house setting for future couples looking for a venue to host their special day.  Having welcomed newlyweds through its doors for over 50 years, today a conscientious team led by Wedding Manager Deirdre Crowe provides an enhanced personal service, dedicated to making your day a special and memorable one.

 Nestled in beautifully landscaped, private gardens ideal for capturing precious moments, your photographer will have several vantage points in which to capture stunning and memorable images of your romantic day.

Welcome Drinks Reception

It’s a very exciting moment as you step out of your wedding car for the first time as newlyweds. The drinks reception is the first relaxed opportunity for you to mingle with your family and guests. Enjoy a Drinks Reception in our opulent Lobby, and bask in the celebratory cheer. 

Your Wedding Room

The O’Malley Ballroom can cater for numbers of 100 guests up to 240 seated guests. Come and see how your table plan would look in our elegant ballroom, complete with highly polished dancefloor. Within the ballroom is a bar area where your guests can relax in comfort and privacy. For the convenience of your guests, the toilet facilities are within the ballroom area. 

The Green Room is a light filled private dining room, which is located adjacent to Seasons Restaurant.  It is ideal for a more intimate wedding with your closest friends and family, and can cater for up to 48 guests seated. 

In your Wedding Room, guests are guided by a personalised table plan. For your tables, you will have chosen the style of centrepieces. Crisp linen tablecloths perfectly matched with luxury chair covers complete with a co-ordinated sash, graces each seat.  As your guests are seated, our attentive waiting staff will be on hand to serve your family and friends with a sumptuous five-course meal. 

There are a variety of Wedding Packages on offer, all of which are tailored to meet to all budgets.

Here in the Anner Hotel, we are committed to doing all we can to make your day special. We only take one wedding per day. When you come to discuss your wedding day with us, you will meet Deirdre our wedding manager. Deirdre will be delighted to hear the details of your special day. And as your plans develop and progress, Deirdre will be your one point of contact throughout. On the day itself, Deirdre also carries through and remains with the wedding couple until the last coffee cup is cleared.

"I'm giving the Anner 5 stars because it wont allow me to give more! It definitely deserve more than 5...I just had my wedding day on the 26th of February and it was the most amazing day....from the very first visit back in 2019 when we viewed the hote,l throughout the whole process including a postponement due to covid, the million emails and telephone calls and all the visits to the hotel. Nothing was ever too much trouble and all the staff were always so friendly especially Deirdre the wedding coordinator, who was with us through the whole process and could never do enough for us. For any future brides reading this, Deirdre is one of the reasons I picked the Anner to have our wedding. Her professionalism and experience always showed she is amazing at her job. As for the food, not one of our guests or ourselves could fault it along with the amazing service we received....it was the most magical day and we are delighted that the Anner hotel and its staff were part of it".

My husband and I recently held our wedding reception at The Anner Hotel. From start to finish Deirdre Crowe and her team were a dream to deal with. They left no stone unturned to make our wedding reception a magical experience from the minute we arrive at the hotel for the drinks reception through to end of the night. The food was exceptional and everybody we talked to afterwards complimented the Anner for their food. That’s 94 compliments!!! We would highly recommend this hotel for prospective wedding couples.
